;Ryan van Asten
Ryan van Asten is a graduate of the University of Calgary where he earned an MSc Neuromuscular Physiology. He also holds a BSc in Life Sciences and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP).
Ryan is now entering his fourth year of being the Calgary Flames strength and conditioning coach. This makes him responsible for coordinating the overall strength and conditioning program for all of the players in the organization. Prior to joining the Flames, he spent three seasons with the Los Angeles Kings as their Strength and Conditioning Coach. Where they won two Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014. Ryan van Asten was also the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Coordinator for Hockey Canada and the Canadian Sport Centre in Calgary where he was part of the 2010 Olympic gold medal championship women's hockey team in Vancouver.
