John Rush

John Rush is a vegan professional football player in the Canadian Football League. John played for the University of Guelph, where he went on to win the President’s Trophy for the Best Defensive Player in Canada. Shortly after, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers acquired him, and he’s been there ever since. He originally went vegan for health reasons but quickly realized there are many more benefits to a vegan lifestyle, including environmental and ethical reasons. A dog lover, John volunteers at dog shelters and is planning a trip across Canada to visit dog shelters in each province. Vegan, professional athlete and animal lover, John Rush is using his platform for those that don’t have a voice. We are proud to have him on the TDF Sports team.
